Let's talk about...
FEELING ANXIOUS
Feel really anxious sometimes? Want to talk about it in a safe, non-judgemental space, with people who feel the same?
Anxiety can be a useful response to the world. The racing heart and 'fight or flight' response that many of us know all too well, is the same feeling that might once have alerted our ancestors to run from a lion. In today's world, we don't encounter so many lions. Instead, we're battling emails, difficult landlords and utility bills. But our bodies don't know the difference.
While some degree of anxiety is an inevitable part of life, for some of us, anxiety can become so frequent or intense that it stops being useful, and starts to have a negative impact on our lives. It might make things like eating or sleeping more difficult, or make things we used to enjoy feel stressful.
If you feel like anxiety is negatively impacting your life, and you'd like to talk about it with people who get it, this the group for you. We'll be having an open discussion about how anxious thoughts and feeling affect us, and coming together to feel a little less alone.

Our next 'feeling anxious' group is on Thursday 28th January in Islington.
